Actors of Dionysus · English regional tour · Sept–Nov 2017
A new adaptation of Sophocles' tragedy for Actors of Dionysus, relocating the action to a dystopian near-future where rulers rule outright and surveillance is part of daily life — drones in the air, a voice-operated City Archive in place of the traditional Greek chorus. The production toured nearly forty venues across England.

Broadway Baby★★★★This version brings the story up to date… moving the action into a dystopian future. As an idea it really works well. A really enjoyable show.
